Meet The Artist

Art has always been my greatest passion. Growing up in Kentucky, my heart belongs to the hills, hollers and creeks. My paintings are loose and expressive, often built through layers of acrylics, pencils, and oil pastels. 

I hold an Associate’s degree in Graphic Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, and I now work as an "almost" full-time artist.

As a Kentucky Arts Council Community Scholar, I discovered a second calling in writing, capturing the stories of Appalachian people whose lives and legacies have shaped the community.

Together, my art and writing reflect stories of survival, experience and quiet strength, work that is deeply personal, yet meant to be shared.
